Frescoes and 17th century antique floors juxtapose with a cutting-edge glass cube kitchen, while traditional Piedmontese cuisine is spun by the very modern minds in our kitchens.
Alessio I is about style, sustainability and flavour. We favour a short chain capturing the freshest taste of local ingredients with bountiful produce from Vistaterra’s estate and strong collaborations with producers. Anticipate trout from Pont Canavese, Piedmont’s famously flavoursome Fassone beef, palate cleansing consommés with herbs from our gardens.
Dishes are often a response to ingredients presented that day from one of our community farmers.Book a table
In 1545 Alessio I of San Martino di Loranzè restored Castella di Parella as a country retreat. Nearly 500 years the restaurant named after the Marchesi, has been created as a high contemporary glass cube kitchen, an extraordinary ‘room within the room’, preserving the precious historic features.
